Report of the Supervisory BoardConsultation with the Works CouncilThe Works Council was enlarged shortly after the acquisition of Alex Beleggersbank to ensure proper representation of the employees of both companies. The new members of the Works Council were introduced to the Supervisory Board in 2008 and, on behalf of the Supervisory Board, Messrs. Scholtes and Van Westerloo attended a number of consultation meetings with the Works Council, the agenda of which included the proposed nomination of a candidate for appointment to the Management Board and the harmonisation of the terms of employment of former Alex Beleggersbank employees. The Supervisory Board attaches great value to its good relations with the Works Council and found its meetings with the Council to be both constructive and valuable.
