BinckBank

Binck Bank

2. Basis of consolidation

The consolidated financial statements include the assets and liabilities and the income and expense items of the company and its subsidiaries. Subsidiaries are entities over which BinckBank has control. Control is deemed to exist if BinckBank is able, either directly or indirectly, to govern the financial and operating policies of the company so as to obtain benefits from its activities. Subsidiaries are fully consolidated as soon as BinckBank obtains control. If BinckBank ceases at any point to control a subsidiary, the subsidiary will be immediately deconsolidated. The accounting policies of the subsidiaries and their reporting periods are the same as those of BinckBank.
